CDBG funds will be used for this project. The scope of work generally consists of pavement rehabilitations and reestablishment of pavement delineations and pavement markings on mostly residential roads. The Work is to be done in accordance with the project’s Plans and the Contract Documents and Specifications and as directed by the City Engineer. The specific Work to be done under each Bid Item is described in Chapter VII – Technical Provisions via narratives. Questions or clarifications concerning the scope of work shall be submitted prior to the deadline. The Engineer’s Estimate of Probable Costs is around $1.7 Million and the time for completion of the work shall be thirty (30) working days. The plans and Contract Documents and Specifications for this project are available online for download through the PUBLIC PURCHASE website directly at www.publicpurchase.com. Bids shall be submitted in conformance with the Contract Documents and Specifications as provided by the Engineering Division of the city of Hesperia. Bid and accompanying documents must be submitted electronically through PUBLIC PURCHASE. Project to be awarded based on Base Bid Amount for a Total Bid Amount. Base Bid, Bid Item No. 13 – Unforeseen/Supplemental Work/Differing Site Conditions Allowance shall be a fixed amout of $1.00 EA for a total bid item amount of $50,000.
