    The engineering team is a very critical part of the City’s operation and the safety of residents. The Consultant’s staff, and any designated subconsultants, will be responsible for providing oversight and engineering services for all public works projects and coordinating with the City Traffic Engineer’s team on traffic and transportation related projects and programs. The engineering team facilitates roadway, curb/gutter/sidewalk, and bridge maintenance programs, prepares and administers the five-year Capital Improvement Program including overall annual budgets, manages county (Measure R and M), state, local and federally funded programs, manages and administers the City's Lighting and Landscape Assessment Districts, and provides regulatory agency processing and permitting, among other duties.
