SCOPE OF PROCUREMENT Scope of Work – Professional On-Call Engineering Services The Town of Silver City, located in Grant County, New Mexico, is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide on-call professional engineering services for municipally owned and operated infrastructure, with a primary focus on streets. General Scope The selected consultant shall provide professional engineering and related services on an as-needed basis. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: Studies and Reports Conduct feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and cost estimates. Prepare reports, funding applications, and supporting documentation. Design Services Perform preliminary and final design for infrastructure projects. Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) in compliance with applicable standards, including NMDOT requirements. Complete project certifications required by the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT). Bidding and Procurement Support Assist with preparation of bid packages and advertising for bids. Respond to bidder inquiries and prepare addenda as necessary. Provide bid evaluations and recommendations for award. Construction Management Provide construction administration, including QA (Quality Assurance) and IA (Independent Assurance) testing. Conduct on-site construction observation to ensure compliance with contract documents. Manage project closeout activities, including final inspections and documentation.
