    Description

    The Town of Glastonbury will receive on-line Bids for furnishing and installing Landscaping, Plantings, Shredded Bark Mulch, Fencing, Timber Posts and Turf Establishment to provide support for the reconstruction of a new parking lot performed by Town of Glastonbury personnel as depicted on the contract drawings located at 50 Nye Road in Glastonbury. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid except as otherwise expressly provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and labor and material payment bonds in the full amount of the agreed contract price.Bidders are further advised that this project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements of Connecticut General Statutes Section 31-53. This project is also subject to State set-aside and contract compliance requirements.Bidders are also hereby alerted to the schedule requirements as outlined in Special Conditions Section 11.00.The Town of Glastonbury is An Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. Minority/Women’s Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid.This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including setaside (25% SBE and 6.25% M/W/DisBE) and non-discrimination requirements enforced by the CHRO.
