Golfview Avenue is a vital connector within the City of Bartow, linking residential neighborhoods to key community areas. Over time, the pedestrian infrastructure along this corridor has experienced wear and degradation, resulting in safety hazards and accessibility challenges.
The project area includes sidewalks, curbing, and adjacent asphalt surfaces that show signs of aging, cracking, and unevenness. The corridor supports a mix of pedestrian and vehicular traffic, requiring careful planning to minimize disruptions during construction. These conditions have prompted the City to pursue improvements that support a safer, more accessible, and visually appealing environment.
