AI Summary
The State of Georgia seeks proposals for a scalable GPS Telematics solution for its fleet, starting with a 5,000-vehicle pilot and potential statewide expansion to 20,000+ vehicles, including installation, monitoring, training, and reporting services.
The purpose of this eRFP is to solicit proposals for a scalable GPS Telematics solution for the State of Georgia's decentralized fleet. Implementation of the solution will include two phases. Phase 1 will be a proof-of-concept pilot involving approximately 5,000 administrative vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, and light-duty trucks (under 9,000 lbs. GVWR) as identified by the Georgia Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) Office of Fleet Management (OFM). See Attachment P for vehicle information. The objective of the pilot is to evaluate the benefits and cost-saving potential of implementing GPS Telematics. Upon completion of device installation, system implementation and training, the supplier and OFM will compile data for one year based on Key Performance indicators included in Section 4.0 of this document after which the OFM, in collaboration with the supplier will publish a summary of findings. The selected Supplier will be responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, software, training, and services required to install, monitor, and report on the GPS devices and diagnostics throughout the pilot period of one full calendar year. Phase 2 will be dependent upon successful pilot results and the DOAS Commissioner's final approval. This phase will be full statewide expansion to the remainder of the vehicles in the State's fleet of up to 20,000 + vehicles. Vehicles include cars, light, medium and heavy-duty trucks, buses, vans and SUVs. The selected Supplier will be responsible for providing minimally the same resources as those included in Phase 1 to effectively accomplish full expansion to the remainder of the state fleet within one calendar year of approval.
