The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) Procurement Office seeks a firm to supply and deliver Graded Aggregate Base for earth work to maintain 5,600 miles of freshwater pipeline and more than 5,400 miles of sewer pipeline infrastructure in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties.
WSSC is seeking a Contractor to provide Graded Aggregate Base for supportive foundation and backfill material for WSSC underground water treatment structures. Over the past five years, WSSC has utilized 119,544 tons of Graded Aggregate Base to maintain it's water infrastructure.
The Bidder must provide proof that the graded aggregate base they are providing is listed as a qualified producer/manufacturer on the MSHA-OMT site https://www.roads.maryland.gov/OMT/grdaggbase.pdf.
If the Bidder is not listed as a qualified producer/manufacturer by MSHA-OMT, such Bidder must provide a letter from the approved producer/manufacturer authorizing the distribution of approved graded aggregate base.
If MSHA-OMT did not list the Bidder as a qualified manufacturer, the Bidder must provide a letter from MSHA-OMT confirming that their graded aggregate base is to be added to the approved vendor list: https://www.roads.maryland.gov/OMT/grdaggbase.pdf.
The Bidder must provide proof that their company has been in business for a minimum of three (3) years, providing graded aggregate base. At a minimum, the bidder must provide the following information:
