    Description

The Housing Authority of Baltimore City (“HABC”) is requesting proposals from interested and qualified licensed insurance brokers and agents (individually, a “Responder” and collectively, the “Responders”) to assist HABC with obtaining bids from insurance companies for HABC’s workers’ compensation insurance coverage. HABC anticipates selecting at least two (2) and not more than four (4) responders to this Request for Proposals “(RFP”). The selected brokers will each independently assess HABC’s workers’ compensation insurance needs and provide recommendations regarding appropriate insurance coverage. Each of the selected brokers will then approach the insurance markets to obtain quotes from insurers and present those quotes to HABC, which will include full disclosure of the fees and commissions payable to the broker in connection with the policy. Based on the quotes submitted by each broker, HABC will select one (1) broker for its insurance coverage. Responder shall provide a list, in order of preference from most to least preferred, of the insurance markets you would seek to access on behalf of HABC for workers’ compensation insurance. Interested brokers are not permitted to contact any insurance markets during this process. Insurance market contact will automatically eliminate a broker from consideration.
