Bids will be opened with results displayed publicly on PennBid. Bids will be reviewed and recommended for award to the lowest qualified Bidder at the Public Meeting of Hamburg Municipal Authority at their regularly scheduled meeting to be held at 5:00 P.M. prevailing time on April 15, 2026.Plans, Specifications and other documents constituting the Contract Documents are available at no cost on PennBid Bonfire –www.pennbid.bonfirehub.com.Bidders are directed to ensure that bid submissions are complete as required by the specifications; incomplete submissions may be deemed non-responsive. All bidders must furnish a Surety Company’s Bid Bond on the form provided in the Bid Documents, naming as payee or Obligee the Hamburg Municipal Authority in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid submitted. The Surety Company must be acceptable to said Authority.The successful bidder (Contractor) will be required to execute the Agreement and to furnish a “Performance Bond” and a “Payment Bond” all in the respective forms provided in the Contract Documents. The Contractor also will be required to furnish evidence of insurance coverage as required by the Contract Documents.No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the above specified date for receiving, opening, and reading of Bids, except as specifically provided by law.The wages paid on this project may be subject to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Prevailing Minimum Wage determination.Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public, natural resources that affect the project.The Hamburg Municipal Authority, reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all Bids, and the above invitation to Bidders is made for the benefit of the Hamburg Municipal Authority and no rights shall be deemed to accrue to any person making a Bid by reason of the submission of any bid hereunder or by waiver or non-enforcement of any provision of requirement of this invitation.Hamburg Municipal Authority Stan Henne, Chairman
