    Description

    County of San Mateo-Department of Public Works is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair services for fire suppression and sprinkler systems as per The Joint Commission  requirements, NFPA 25, California Code of Regulation Title 19, Title 22, and Title 24, and all other applicable local, state, and federal regulations and codes. The fire sprinkler systems are in multiple buildings consisting of over 600,000 square feet of patient care areas throughout the hospital, clinics, and staff areas, the data server room, and the kitchen.

    • Cost (30 pts)

      Competitive pricing for the proposed scope of work, including clarity and completeness of the cost breakdown.

    • Experience (35 pts)

      Demonstrated experience performing fire sprinkler testing, inspection, repair and services. Preferably in healthcare or other regulated environments.

    • Familiarity with Health Facilities Standards and Compliance (35 pts)

      Understanding of applicable health and safety regulations, facility protocols, and infection control measures; demonstrated ability to meet or exceed the standards require in a healthcare environment.
