    Description

    The Work consists of a renovation of an existing softball field and baseball field at Henrico High School, located at 302 Azalea Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23227. This project will include the demolition of the existing fields, regrading, and installation of a synthetic turf playing surface. The softball field will keep the same footprint and existing dugouts; however, the baseball field footprint will be altered slightly from the existing field and will have new dugouts installed. Both fields will have new batting cages and bullpens installed with this project. Both fields will have new LED athletic field lighting installed. Both softball and baseball fields will receive new fencing. Site work will include demolition, earthwork, site grading, stormwater installation, and concrete sidewalks and pads. The infrastructure improvements will include stormwater piping and underground BMPs. All supporting activities required to complete the project will be included, such as DEQ/USACOE permit compliance, Henrico County POD compliance, tree clearing, stormwater improvements, landscaping, landscape architectural components, and site lighting. New LED light fixtures and poles and the synthetic turf will be provided by the Owner. General Contractor will be responsible for scheduling the receiving of materials to the site. Contractor shall be responsible for light pole foundation, wiring, and installation of the new athletic field lights. Contractor shall be responsible for providing the softball and baseball fields to subgrade.
