Q (No subject):
A: Do you have pictures of the ice rink and what has been done in the past? Mostly interested in the entrance and exit per the scope. Can you confirm location in park? Attachment I indicates a pretty large area - maybe outline which sidewalks lead into the rink? This is a new location for the ice rink and although its exact size is still TBD, it will be relatively modest in size and similar to the rink used in 2025. Attached to the posting please find an image of the 2025 rink along with a diagram indicating (1) the approximate location of the rink, and (2) the main park entrances to consider for lighting.
Q (No subject):
A: Do you want the decor to match the Winterfest theme on the ship? For continuity, it would be ideal if many of the general elements from Winterfest continued throughout the park and adjacent spaces, but the Winterfest “theme” is not necessary to replicate. For example, Winterfest is primarily composed of traditional string-lighted bulb elements; lighted blow-up elements would not be as appropriate for the surrounding areas.

A: Do you have all the extension cords for the trees and floods? No
Q (No subject):
A: Is it necessary to obtain permits for this project? This is for the Contractor to determine.

A: Do you want all decorative elements to stay on the path or just off the path, not in the grass? All elements should be off the path and in the grass areas.
Q (No subject):
A: Was the tower tree and garland etc last year a rental or does the city own those elements? The city owns those elements.
Q (No subject):
A: Are you open to a lease model? It is preferred that the city retains ownership of all elements after the season.
Q (No subject):
A: Is the decoration of the Pagoda a separate contract? Yes.
Q (No subject):
A: No tree wrapping per scope? This is at the discretion of the Offeror.
Q (No subject):
A: Is all the product stored locally? Will it be delivered or do we need to arrange transportation? It is stored locally and will be transported to the job site.
Q (No subject):
A: Do we need to include shipping / storage after the season for the new product that we supply if it is a purchase or will you handle this? Storage costs will be absorbed by the City separately from this contract.
Q (No subject):
A: Are there any power limitations in the park or should we anticipate that power needs can be met with what ever we design within reason? Adequate power is available within reason.
