Honey Brook Borough, Chester County - Pine Street Rehabilitation

Sealed proposals will be received by Honey Brook Borough, online via the PennBid™ Program, until 11:00 am, on Monday, June 1st , 2026 for the Pine Street Rehabilitation Project.The work will consist of rehabilitating approximately 1,060 linear feet of Pine Street in Honey Brook Borough. The work will be primarily 1.5” mill and overlay, with select areas of base repair, as directed by the Borough and the Borough’s engineer. The scope also includes some areas to receive Petromat and line striping.Bidders must conform to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as well as the General Conditions and detailed Specifications in the bid package. All documents and solicitation details are available at no cost at PennBid™ - www.PennBid.net.Only questions submitted online via PennBid™ shall be considered. Responses will be provided on the website and be visible to all Bidders. Any changes to the plans or specifications will be provided as an Addendum and notice will be given to Bidders through the website via email. No responses will be provided for requests received after 12:00 pm on May 25, 2026.Bids may be held by Honey Brook Borough for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of Bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids, receipt of government approvals, receipt of grant(s) and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract. Bids may be publicly awarded on June 1st, 2026 at 7:00pm (local time) at the Honey Brook Borough Hall, 71 Pequea Avenue, Honey Brook, PA 19344.The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Honey Brook Borough. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor’s Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. Honey Brook Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Borough. Honey Brook Borough also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received.
