    Description

Meditech will provide ongoing maintenance, technical support, and software updates for the existing Meditech information system, a cloud based electronic medical record (EMR) system. These services will ensure the continued functionality and stability of the hospital's financial, clinical and administrative operations. The New York State Department of Health intends to contract with Medical Information Technology, Inc. for Hospital Information System Maintenance for the term 03/07/26 - 03/06/27, one year extension plus two one-year renewals. A competitive procurement for this service was not feasible because in order to determine if a vendor pool was available to provide Meditech services, the Hospital published a Solicitation of Interest (SOI) and received emails from several vendors stating that they would not be able to provide maintenance on any Meditech's software, making it necessary to continue with Meditech until a new procurement could be established.
