    Project GoalsGetting parents to view HPV vaccination as the social norm is key in raising vaccination rates for this disease. From creating awareness to educating parents on the benefits of vaccination can have a direct impact in increasing immunization coverage rates. Providing the proper education to parents and their children about HPV can go a long way to help the vaccination rates increase and reduce instances of HPV cases.The goal of the RFP is to provide outreach and education to medical providers who have adolescent clients in their practice and ensure that doctors and their staff are educated on the recommended approaches to discuss HPV vaccination with parents and their children needing the vaccine. Involve everyone in their practice in HPV vaccination efforts.• All components listed in this section are mandatory.• Create training curriculum and training plan using multiple methods for training (i.e. via webinar, site visits) to enforce the following objectives. o Review of the current Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendation for HPV and the science around vaccinating at an earlier age. o Making effective recommendations to help to increase the vaccination coverage rates for HPV.o Helping parents understand why HPV is important to their child. o Address parents questions about HPV safety. o Educate providers on how to utilize the IIS to assist them to improve their immunization coverage rates.• Provide feedback and follow up to ensure education is enforced. o Evaluate this provider education process. (coverage level assessment).
