    Sweetwater Authority (Authority) is a public water agency that provides water service to approximately 186,907 people in National City, Bonita and the western and central portions of Chula Vista, California. All provisions of law applicable to public contracts will be made part of the final contract to the same extent as though set forth herein and will be complied with by the successful Bidder.This Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued to cover the cost to Sweetwater Authority (Authority) for the removal and replacement of 2 (two) HVAC package units located on the rooftop of the Sweetwater Authority Desalination Facility, 3066 N 2nd Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91910. The removal and replacement of 4 (four) Split System heat pump condensing units, 4 (four) heat pump Fan Coil Units located at the Sweetwater Authority Perdue Treatment Plant, 100 Lakeview Avenue, Spring Valley, CA 91977.Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals. This work entails:Desalination Facility, 3066 N 2nd Avenue, Chula Vista, CA. 91910;1. Remove and dispose of existing equipment according to EPA regulations.2. Supply and installation of 2 (two) new Carrier 4-Ton (or equal) rooftop HVAC electric package units with R-454B Refrigerant.3. Supply and installation of 2 (two) Transition curbs to adapt new equipment to the existing rooftop penetrations.4. Supply and install new digital programmable thermostat5. Supply and install new disconnect switch, fuses, and flex conduits for each HVAC package unit6. Lift equipment to and from rooftop by way of crane.7. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the Project.
