HVAC Replacement - Design-Build - Four Locations

The School District of Greenville County (District) invites interested firms to submit a SEALED PROPOSAL to provide HVAC Replacement - Design-Build - Four Locations for Greenville County Schools in accordance with the Specifications and Terms and Conditions of this solicitation. The Four Locations are Thomas E. Kerns Elementary, Blythe Academy, Slater-Marietta Elementary and Golden Strip Child Development Center. Design services shall be in accordance with all current codes. Further details are provided in the Scope of Work and Attachment section of this solicitation.

• Design-Build Professional Relevant Project Experience (20 pts) —

  Firm’s experience on K-12 education projects in South Carolina within the past five years

  Firm’s experience with the Office of School Facilities

  Firm’s experience with similar school projects within the past five years

  Firm’s experience with preconstruction and construction services

  Firm’s experience working in and around an active K-12 campus without interruption of instruction

• Design-Build Professional Approach to Design-Build Projects (20 pts) —

  Firm’s approach to integrating the Owner (District) into the D-B team

  Firm’s ability to establish and maintain GMP

  District participation in the process

  Change Order Process

• Design-Build Professional Approach to Compressed Schedules (25 pts) —

  Firm’s approach to getting quality and detailed designs done in short period of time

  Firm’s approach to submitting DD and CD drawings to OSF

  Firm’s approach to ordering long lead time equipment

  Firm’s approach to integrating TAB and Commissioning into the project to efficiently complete the project

• Design-Build Fee Proposal (10 pts) —

  Design and Construction Services Fees as a Percentage of GMP

  Include 5% Contingency

  All savings shall be returned to the District

• Responsiveness to Solicitation (5 pts) —
