The Riverside County Sheriff's Office is responsible for a substantial jurisdiction encompassing 7,300 square miles, which designates Riverside County as the fourth largest county in the state of California. Furthermore, the Riverside County Sheriff's Office ranks as the second-largest sheriff's office in California and is recognized as the fourth largest among all statewide law enforcement agencies. The County seeks a qualified and certified contractor that has a certified C-38 State of California License, and be in good standing to provide: Scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure safe, sanitary, and reliable ice production. On-call corrective repairs (time & materials), including diagnostics and replacement of OEM or equivalent parts – No refurbished parts. Emergency service for critical equipment failures within defined response times as stated in Exhibit “A” Scope of Work. Water filtration management and sanitation services complying with health standards as noted in the California Health and Safety Code – Sections 110970-111010: Article 10. Inventory tracking, service reporting, and asset condition assessments to support operational planning. Under California Labor Code section 1771 any projects over $1,000 require the general prevailing rate to be paid for work of a similar character in the locality in which the public work is performed. Not less than the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work shall also be paid to all workers working for contractors and subcontractors employed on public works.
