    Description

    The Contractor will provide labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services, skills, supervision and necessary tools and equipment, throughout the Contract period, required for: the replacement of two (2) existing Smith & Loveless wet well-mounted pump stations (PS-85 & PS-49 with new Smith & Loveless stations. Bid Alternate #1 adds PS-59 (Three Stations: PS-85, PS-49 & PS-59) Bid Alternate #2 Adds PS-59 & PS-25 (All four Stations PS-85, PS-49, PS-59 & PS-25). The project includes the removal and replacement of the gravity inflow sewer main, bypass pumping assembly and Smith and Loveless above ground pump station. The work also includes rehabilitation of the existing wet wells, installation of new kingpin manholes at 2 of the pump stations, a new generator at PS-59, electrical site work for future generators at PS-25, 49 & 85, reconnection to existing force mains, electrical modifications, partial or complete fencing removal and replacement, concrete removal and replacement, tree & landscaping removal & replanting, site restoration and other related items as identified in the contract documents.These projects also include other items incidental to the infrastructure replacement, such as: disposal of materials removed; maintenance of traffic, and restoration of disturbed areas including paved ditches and pavement as identified in the Contract Documents.The Contractor shall have the capability to perform and complete the services in all respects in accordance with the solicitation documents. The Contractor here by warrants that all services will be performed in a timely and first-class workmanlike manner.
