Bids may be held for ninety (90) days subject to all action by the County. Santa Fe County reserves the right to reject any and all bids in part or in whole. A completed bid package must be submitted in a sealed container indicating the bid title and number along with the bidding firm’s name and address clearly marked on the outside of the container. All bids must be received by 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Santa Fe County Purchasing Division located at 102 Grant Avenue, Santa Fe, NM 87501. By submitting a bid for the requested materials and/or services each firm is certifying that their bid is in compliance with the regulations and requirements stated within this IFB. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 8 Forest Ln, Santa Fe, NM 87508 – Coordinates (35.592123, -106.054157), Santa Fe County. All bidders must be in attendance and on time in order to submit a bid. Santa Fe County Public Works Publish: January 18 – 19 IFB 2026-0196-PW/DK 3 BID INSTRUCTIONS Bids are requested by Santa Fe County for construction services for the Abajo Lift Station and Sewer Line Project in Arroyo Hondo, in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by Molzen Corbin and Santa Fe County. The project involves the construction of a new wastewater lift station to address existing wastewater system needs and support reliable operation. The bids shall be based upon the material descriptions, units, and estimated quantities shown on the attached bid sheets. Final payment will be made upon quantities completed in accordance with the specifications, measured and accepted by the County, paid at the unit prices contained in the bid. The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with the construction plans and specifications. The bid shall include all permits, fees, tie-in fees for all utilities, overhead and profit, and incidental costs in the bid amounts. All applicable taxes shall not be included in the bid amounts. All applicable laws and ordinances and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over the project shall apply to the Contractor and all agreements between the Contractor and the County. 1. LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work of this contract consists of constructing a new wastewater lift station and approximately 1-mile of pressurized sewer line in accordance with the Drawings and these Specifications for Santa Fe County. Work included under this Contract includes: (1) constructing approximately 5,440 feet of 12-inch HDPE pressurized sewer line with associated air release/vacuum valve stations, cleanouts, and appurtenances; (2) constructing two (2) jack and bore crossings under state highways for 12-inch waterline; and (3) constructing the new Abajo Lift Station and related site improvements adjacent to the existing Abajo Lift Station. The Drawings and Specifications are prepared by Molzen Corbin & Associates. 2. TIME AND PLACE OF RECEIVING AND OPENING BIDS: This information will be found in the “Advertisement of Bid” form attached hereto. A bid received after the specified time will not be considered and will be returned to the bidder unopened. 3. SPECIFICATIONS: The construction of this project will be in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared for this project by Molzen Corbin & Associates and other contract documents prepared by Santa Fe County, except as otherwise specified herein or in the contract. 4. CONTRACT TIME: The number of days for the completion of work (the contract time) from the Notice to Proceed is three hundred and sixty-five (365) days.
