The posting for the IFB can be found here: https://www.health.ny.gov/funding/ifb/c043015/ Minimum Qualifications to Apply are: A minimum of five (5) years of experience conducting laboratory testing for bacterial sexually transmitted infections. Possess a current New York State laboratory licensure to conduct testing in New York State. A copy shall be included with the Bid. Must be a clinical laboratory permitted by the New York State Department of Health under the Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program (“CLEP”) and authorized to perform the following services on specimens originating in New York State: perform bacteriology testing for standalone and combined Chlamydia trachomatis and Gonorrhea; perform nucleic acid amplification tests for the purposes of Chlamydia trachomatis and Gonorrhea detection in both rectal and oropharyngeal specimens; perform diagnostic immunology testing for Treponema pallidum; perform testing for Trichomonas vaginalis, and Mycoplasma genitalium; and perform antimicrobial susceptibility testing of N. gonorrhoeae pharyngeal specimens for recommended antimicrobial agents, including cefixime, ceftriaxone, azithromycin, and ciprofloxacin. Failure to meet these Minimum Qualifications will result in a Bid being found non-responsive and eliminated from consideration. Bid Format, Content and Submission: A proposal consists of two (2) distinct parts: (1) the Mandatory Bid Requirements and (2) Other Bid Documents. Proposals should be submitted in all formats as detailed in the IFB. The proposal must be received electronically by the Department’s email, AIGPU@health.ny.gov via two (2) separate searchable password protected PDF files no later than the Deadline for Submission of Proposals specified in the IFB, Section 1: Calendar of Events and as shown in the Key Dates shown below. The Subject Line should reference “IFB #C043015 Laboratory Testing Services (Mandatory Bid Requirements) or (Other Bid Documents). Late Bids will not be considered. Bidders are instructed to review the IFB for full submission requirements.
