    Description of goods to services to be bid: NYSERDA seeks proposals for independent audit services with a qualified firm capable of providing a broad range of services to support the Internal Audit Department. This can include financial, operational, regulatory and compliance related audits, investigative and forensic services, technology and cybersecurity services, grant reviews, and advisory and risk services. We are seeking proposals to establish a five-year professional services umbrella contract capable of supporting future engagements in an efficient and flexible manner given the evolving regulatory environment, increased public scrutiny surrounding administration of public funds, cybersecurity threats, operational complexity, and rapidly changing technology environments. If changes are made to this solicitation notification will be posted on NYSERDA’s website at: www.nyserda.ny.gov/funding-opportunities Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences: To be considered, proposers should demonstrate that they possess the organizational capacity, technical expertise, staffing depth, and public sector experience necessary to support a broad range of services contemplated under this solicitation. Requirements include: technical capabilities across audit, advisory, compliance, investigative, and technology services; firm qualifications and relevant experience; team and staffing depth, subject matter expertise, and resource deployment; cost including pricing structure and rates schedules; project management, quality assurance, and reporting; and diversity practices. At a minimum, proposers should demonstrate: 1. Legal authorization to do business in New York State. 2. Experience performing assurance, advisory, compliance, investigative, operational, financial, technology, cybersecurity, grant, regulatory, or related engagements. 3. Experience supporting public-sector entities, public authorities, regulated entities, or similarly complex organizations. 4. Experience supporting executive leadership, audit committees, governing boards, or regulatory stakeholders. 5. Ability to rapidly deploy qualified personnel and specialized subject matter experts. 6. Ability to support multiple concurrent engagements while maintaining quality standards and schedule expectations. 7. Experience in applying professional standards, control frameworks, and regulatory requirements applicable to public-sector environments. 8. Experience preparing executive-level reports, presentations, and work products suitable for management and governance stakeholders.
