Martin County is soliciting bids from licensed contractors for the Indian Riverside Park Living Shoreline Mangrove Restoration Project to install 1,620 mangrove plantings and treat and remove invasive and exotic species along the shoreline of Indian Riverside Park. The Project will use a combination of mangrove plantings and invasive and exotic species treatment to restore shoreline habitat and further ongoing work at the Park to reduce erosion, protect existing mangrove habitat, mitigate future flood impacts, and maintain recreational shoreline access. Funds for this project are derived from a State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Grant Agreement (#22SRP07). Therefore, the successful Contractor and its subcontractors shall comply with all terms and conditions of this Agreement and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to this Project.
