Information Technology (IT) Consulting and Management Services - Rebid #2

The Borough of Bergenfield is a municipal government entity located in Bergen County, New Jersey, with a population of approximately 28,000 residents within a land area of 2.9 square miles. The Borough is organized under the Mayor and Council form of government and is responsible for providing a full range of municipal services, including public safety, public works, sanitation, code enforcement, parks and recreation, and general administrative services. Bergenfield maintains a combination of residential, commercial, educational, and municipal facilities and is committed to ensuring the effective delivery of services, the maintenance of public infrastructure, and the responsible stewardship of public resources.

For this reason, the Borough of Bergenfield is soliciting bids pursuant to the public bidding process of New Jersey’s Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A 40A:11-4.1(k), et seq., to secure an Information Technology (IT) Consulting and Management Firm, the proposed terms and conditions of which are included in this bid specification.

Background

1. The intent and purpose of these specifications is to adequately describe the type, quality, and quantity of the good or service to furnish. It shall meet the needs and demands of the Borough of Bergenfield and list the requirements necessary for entering into a contract to furnish the specified items as provided herein and as applicable in the request for proposal (RFP) or as mutually agreed upon.
2. The conditions and requirements are intended to be open and competitive to obtain adequate participation of interested parties, uniformity in submitting proposals, and selection of the most advantageous response, price, and other factors considered. The Borough shall be the sole judge concerning the merits of all proposals.
3. Listed herein are the specifications for goods or services and other information required to establish a Contract.

  The Respondent will submit a detailed cost breakdown showing how the annual Pricing Proposal cost was calculated for each of the three (3) years. This should be presented in a table format.

  Please provide the hourly rates for all key personnel involved in the project.  These rates will be used for any project-based work if required.
