Bids will only be accepted electronically; prospective bidders must submit their bids via the following website: www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york . Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents are available for you to download by logging in to the following websites: www.scwa.com or www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york. Questions and answers will also be posted on the public websites noted above. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on April 3, 2026. The conference will be held at Suffolk County Water Authority’s Purchasing Department located at 4050 Sunrise Highway, Oakdale, NY. Any firm wishing to have a bid considered by SCWA must send a representative to the conference. Failure by a firm or its representatives to attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will disqualify the firm’s bid from consideration for an award. The Authority may excuse a firm’s attendance at the pre-bid conference upon a showing of an extraordinary circumstance that prevented the firm or any of its representatives from attending the conference. Apprenticeship Agreement: The Suffolk County Water Authority requires, pursuant to New York Labor Law Section 816-b, all Contractors and Subcontractors shall have, apprenticeship agreements appropriate for the type and scope of work to be performed under this Contract, that are registered with and approved by the New York State Commissioner of Labor pursuant to the requirements of New York Labor Law Article 23. Evidence of such agreements for both contractors and subcontractors, if any, must be submitted with the bid. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid.
