Intent to Single Source- KMC Controls, Energy Management Systems (EMS)

This is an Intent to Single Source. The Facility Management division has a need for HVAC Energy Management System/Building Automation System Software & Hardware installation, component service, and Programming & Commissioning of Sequences of Control.

Background

KMC Controls, Energy Management Systems (EMS) are installed at various City facilities where they monitor environmental conditions and control equipment that historically consume large quantities of non-renewable energy. Equipment controlled by the EMS include air conditioning units, boilers, pumps, valves, exhaust systems, and lighting system in municipal buildings. Several departments throughout the City of Tampa, in an effort to consolidate software licensing and reduce parts inventory for maintenance and repair of control systems, utilize KMC controls.

  The prospective bidder must be an authorized manufacturer's distributor or dealer who can quote the product and also provide warranty service, maintenance or repairs if and when requested for the quoted product provided to the City.
