INIVITATION FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow is requesting sealed bids or proposals for supplying heavy equipment for “NEW 2026 5-YARD SINGLE AXEL“ bids are invited and will be received at or prior to of 5:00 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time) on Wednesday, November 19TH, 2025 at the Office of Clerk and Recorder of Butte-Silver Bow, Second Floor, Room 208, Courthouse Building, 155 West Granite Street, Butte, Montana, 59701. Said Bids or Proposals will be opened at a meeting of the Butte-Silver Bow Council of Commissioners in the Council Chambers at 7:30p.m. Wednesday, November 19TH, 2025. Specifications for the above Bid will be on file at the Clerk and Recorder’s Office and copies will be available. Persons with disabilities who need an accommodation to participate in this public hearing should contact James Ouellette, ADA Coordinator; Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse, Room 209, 155 West Granite Street., Butte, MT 59701; 406-497-6433; or jouellette@bsb.mt.gov on or before November 17th, 2025 (3) working days of the noticed bid acceptance closing date time. All Bids must be accompanied by an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate of the Bid Proposed in the form of (a) lawful monies of the United States; (b) a cashier’s check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft, in any case drawn and issued by a National Banking Association located in the State of Montana; (c) a bid bond or bonds executed by a surety corporation authorized to do business in the State of Montana. These securities will be forfeited to the Butte-Silver Bow Government as liquidated damages if the requirements in the way of contract are not entered into within fifteen (15) days after the date of award by the Council of Commissioners. Federal Excise, local or state tax should not be included in the Bids as Butte-Silver Bow is exempt from it. The successful Bidder shall comply with all applicable Federal Regulations and Requirements which include but are not limited to, Section 2 Clause, equal Opportunity Clause, Executive Order 11246 and 11624, Federal labor Standards and Civil Rights Act. The Council of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Proposals.
