    Description

    The purpose of this solicitation is to secure firm fixed pricing and establish a term contract for Handyman Services on an “as-needed” basis to support the operation of the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County (AUTHORITY) in conjunction with the specifications within this solicitation.The proposed work will be contracted to a Certified Small Business Enterprise, licensed Florida General Contractor, and consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to construct as detailed in the contract documents. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following:The project involves replacing, reconstructing, or repairing existing public buildings or structures owned by the Authority.All work shall be in accordance with the Plans & Specifications and shall be in compliance with all applicable codes.The work is located in Palm Beach County, Florida and will be performed at various service locations on an as-needed basis.Questions and Answers: The AUTHORITY provides a specified time for BIDDERS to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Bonfire by the date and time specified in the bid document (including any addenda). The AUTHORITY will respond to all questions through Bonfire, that may include a written Addendum.Submittal Instructions: BIDDER MUST submit its solicitation response electronically and MUST confirm its submittal in order for the Authority to receive a valid response through Bonfire. Refer to Bonfire for submittal instructions. It is the BIDDER's sole responsibility to assure its response is submitted and received through Bonfire by the date and time specified in the solicitation. The AUTHORITY will not consider bid responses received by other means. BIDDERS are encouraged to submit their responses in advance of the due date and time specified in the solicitation document. In the event that the BIDDER is having difficulty submitting the solicitation document through Bonfire, immediately notify the Bid Contact, Patricia Armstrong, and then contact Bonfire for technical assistance.
