    STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION & PUBLIC FACILITIES (DOT&PF) CENTRAL REGION INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids for Kwigillingok Airport Safety Improvements , Project Number AIP 3-02-0165-XXX-2026 / CFAPT01479 , will be received before 2:00 p.m., August 5, 2026 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska. This federally funded project will rehabilitate and resurface the existing gravel runway, taxiway, and apron, and restore the runway to its previous length on the existing embankment. Additional work includes installing new threshold markers and applying dust palliative to runway, taxiway, and apron surfaces. The Engineer's Estimate is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000 . The Project completion date will be September 30, 2027 . Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings .
