Oil and chip work includes two coats of asphalt seal coat, with the second coat applied immediately atop the first. The first coat is to be done with 1/2" clean stone, with the second coat to be with 1/4" clean stone. Work also includes the application of a single bituminous seal coat along Flanagan Road.Based on project classification by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, the work under this contract is classified as maintenance, and therefore does not require prevailing wage rates.All Bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified in order to submit a bid. To demonstrate Bidder’s qualifications to perform the Work, Bidder shall submit with its Bid a copy of their ECMS PennDOT Approval Pre-Qualification Summary Page for the Prime Contractor and all Sub-Contractors.Jackson Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
