    Scope of Work

    Email all questions to Miles Fischer at mfischer@rga-design.com. Questions must be received no later than 4:00 PM on July 24, 2026. A single response addressing all questions will be e-mailed to all bidders of record by 4:00 PM on July 24, 2026. The Project is located in the City of New Port Richey, Florida, within the James E. Grey Preserve park located at 6938 Plathe Rd, New Port Richey, FL 34653. The Work is generally described as furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services and incidentals necessary to provide the Owner with the following project elements:

    • Demolition of existing restroom building components including roof structure, interior finishes, plumbing fixtures, doors, frames and accessories as shown in the construction drawings. • Provide all labor and coordination necessary for the trimming and maintenance of trees and vegetation adjacent to the project area as required to facilitate construction activities and protect the existing structure. All tree trimming shall be reviewed and approved by a licensed/certified arborist prior to execution, • Installation of approximately 8 pressure-treated wood piles and reinforced concrete pile caps to support the new structural system. • Installation of wood structural framing including studs, beams, joists, headers and structural blocking as indicated in the construction drawings. • Installation of approximately 90 square yards of metal roofing system, including roof deck, sheathing, underlayment, flashing and skylight. • Installation of exterior wall systems including sheathing, weather barrier, manufactured stone veneer and fiber cement siding. • Installation of interior finishes including moisture-resistant drywall, ceramic wall tile, slip-resistant flooring, interior doors, restroom partitions and ADA accessories. • Installation of plumbing systems including piping, floor drains, toilets, urinals and lavatories • Provide all permits, delivery and servicing necessary to furnish temporary ADA-compliant restroom facilities and handwashing stations for public use during the duration of construction activities. Clear signage to redirect park patrons towards temporary facilities is also needed. • Site restoration, grading, cleanup and all related closeout work necessary to complete the project. • All work shall be in accordance with the construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Bid drawings and documents may be requested by emailing Miles Fischer at mfischer@rga-design.com. and submitting a check for $50.00 payable to RGA Design LLC. at 600 S Magnolia Avenue, Suite 375, Tampa, FL 33606. Drawings and specifications may also be examined at the City of New Port Richey Public Works Facility, 6132 Pine Hill Road, Port Richey, FL 34668.
