Description GENERAL INFORMATION The purpose of this document is to provide interested parties with information to enable them to prepare and submit a RFP for Janitorial Services for UWM Residence Halls. The primary purpose of a resulting contract will be to perform cleaning of the UW Milwaukee Residence Halls, including but not limited to communal shared spaces including: lounges, hallways, elevators, conference/classrooms, laundry rooms, exercise rooms; the residential space including: living room, suite kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and room flipping (including linens) during camp and conference seasons and at each semester. During the summer months University Housing staff assists with cleaning within a residential food operation/cafe space. The awarded contractor will work in conjunction with University Housing staff to perform scope as listed herein, as assigned. See Attachment A and Attachment B for Scope of Services and Requirements. The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee issues this Request for Proposal on behalf of the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System as an agency of the State of Wisconsin. The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, (hereafter “UWM”), invites vendors to submit a proposal in response to this RFP to provide supplemental janitorial services for UWM Residence Halls. The University does not guarantee to purchase any specific quantity or dollar amount. Any contract resulting from this RFP must not be construed as mandatory upon any University campus, State agency or municipality. The University reserves the right to issue separate RFP’s when deemed in the best interest of the University. All University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee departments must be eligible to purchase from this contract. PREPARING AND SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL The University is accepting electronic responses via the Sourcing Module. Required materials must be received by the due date and time listed. Proposals cannot be submitted once the event has closed in the Portal.
