    Description

Jordan Basin Improvement District (the District) requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering services for the expansion of the Jordan Basin Water Reclamation Facility. This facility, a 15 MGD membrane bioreactor (MBR) was first commissioned in 2012 and is owned and operated by the District. The scope of services and contract will be for the Preliminary Design of the facility expansion from 15 MGD to 30 MGD. While the District anticipates the same firm continuing through the entire project, after completion of the Preliminary Design, the District reserves the right to review the performance of the engineering team and, in its sole discretion, continue with the selected firm or go through the selection process for a new design firm to finalize design. The District will consider a partnership or collaborative effort between multiple firms, if such collaboration is in the best interest of the District. The firm(s) who the District determines demonstrates the best competence, qualifications, and experience for the project, will be invited to enter a contract with the District. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submissions, to waive informalities, to negotiate changes in the scope of services to be provided, and to otherwise waive any technicalities, in the best interest of the District.
