The City of Tucson (COT) is conducting a competitive one-step process to Contractors for a Job Order Contract (JOC) for installation, alteration, and repair of all plumbing and appurtenances, line cleaning, rootering and pumping services which will include but not be limited to all scope covered by the K-37 license issued by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. Services will be requested on an as-needed basis and the resultant contracts are neither exclusive nor a commitment by COT that the Contractors' services will be required. Services provided under this contract will be both Commercial and Residential in nature.
The City of Tucson (COT) Risk Management Division requests an emergency call out contractor for installation, alteration, and repair of all plumbing/sewer emergencies which will include but not be limited to all scope covered by the K-37 license issued by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. Work may be located on or near utilities in public rights-of-way/easements that may potentially conflict with City of Tucson Water facilities. Work locations shall be performed as referenced in the boundaries of the attached map.
City insurance and general funding source may be used. Services will be requested on an as-needed basis and the resultant contracts are neither exclusive nor a commitment by COT that the Contractors' services will be required.
General Conditions for Construction (Appendix C) and Construction Services Agreement (Appendix D) are also provided as attachments to this solicitation and will be incorporated into the resulting contract.
During the term of the agreement, work is performed by way of phone call out. Each request for service, initiated by the COT, Risk Management Division, is defined cooperatively by the City and contractor. Scope, schedule, price, and liquidated damages (if applicable) are agreed upon in an executed Notice to Proceed letter prior to proceeding with the work.
Identify at least three (3) projects in which the firm provided recent On-Call plumbing services. The projects identified should clearly demonstrate the breadth of the firms experience and capabilities in managing self-performed work, multiple trade subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. For each project identified, provide:
Description of the project
Current key personnel involved with the project
Description of how the firm provided pre-construction, construction, and post-construction services and the benefits the firm provided to the project
If there were any change orders and the reasons
Project Owner references with contact information.
For each key person identified, provide resumes. Include length of time with firm and applicable degrees and certifications as part of the resume. List comparable projects in which they have played a primary role. If a project selected for a key person is the same as one selected for the firm, provide just the project name and the role of the key person. For other projects provide:
Description of project;
Role of the person;
Contract value; and
Project Owner Reference information.
Identify the home office location of key staff on this contract and the percentage of their time expected to be devoted to this contract.
