The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, permits, and incidentals necessary or required to fully complete the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held at 8:00AM CT on June 16, 2026, at the Johnson County Olathe Detention Center Central Booking located at 101 N. Kansas Avenue, Olathe, Kansas 66061. Bidders will be escorted into the facility, and all general contraband must be secured in the lockers provided prior to entry. Late arrivals will not be permitted. The meeting is expected to last approximately 90 minutes and will include access to all relevant areas. Representation is required by General Contractors/Prime Contractors to be eligible to submit a bid. Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on June 25, 2026, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed. Bidders shall submit the following with their bid: Bid Bond: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening.
