    Description

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Escalon (“City”) invites and will receive sealed Bids up to but not later than 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at the office of the City Clerk, located at 2060 McHenry Avenue, Escalon, California 95320, for the furnishing to City of all labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and all other items necessary for the City of Escalon LA MESA SEWER LIFT STATION UPGRADE PROJECT (the “Project”). At said time, Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at City Hall. Bids received after said time shall be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days after the Bid opening date. The project consists of the partial removal & rehabilitation of an existing sewer effluent lift station that includes wet well, dry well, and pumping systems. The rehabilitation of an existing wet well, dry well, and replacement of piping and electrical conduit, the connection of the pumping station to the existing system and the installation of new access hatches. Also included are the pavement and concrete flatwork demolition and removal within the roadway and frontage. The Engineer’s Estimate is $240,000 Bids must be submitted on the City’s Bid Forms. Bidders must be prequalified prior to time of bidding. The City of Escalon requires all bidders on City public works projects be prequalified as a condition of bidding on said projects, as determined by the City Engineer. It is mandatory that all contractors who intend to submit bids fully complete the prequalification questionnaire, provide all materials requested, and be approved by the City to be on the final bidders list. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor that has failed to comply with these requirements.
