    Description

    The work is generally defined as LIME SILO DEMOLITION. The work is in Manor Township, at the Blue Rock Water Resource Recovery Facility 4160 Blue Rock Road, Washington Boro, PA 17582. The work will consist of the demolition of a 12-foot diameter steel Lime Silo and surrounding structure located overtop of the sludge loading garage as identified in the project manual. The Owner is the LANCASTER AREA SEWER AUTHORITY, 130 CENTERVILLE ROAD LANCASTER PA 17603. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted via PennBid. No questions will be accepted by phone, fax or direct e-mail. Online sealed bids for the construction will be received by the Lancaster Area Sewer Authority via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net ) until April 16 at 11:00 am prevailing time at which time and place, said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. If a site visit is necessary contact the Brian Wilcox at 717-344-5812. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at no cost at www.PennBid.net. Each Bid must be accompanied by a scan of the Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check or Bid bond (in the required form) for 10% of the Bid total. The lowest responsible bidder shall submit the actual Bid Security to the Authority within three (3) business days after bid opening. The Lancaster Area Sewer Authority hereby reserves the right which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all Bids and waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any Bid.
