    *** Please download the full Statement of Work in the Documents Section***Project Overview: This project consists of selective demolition, fence relocation and extension, subgrade preparation, installation of poured-in-place (PIP) impact surfacing, and installation of new synthetic turf systems at the Salinas Child Care facility. Work includes expansion of the existing toddler playground footprint through modification of the chain-link fence perimeter, full replacement of existing PIP surfacing, installation of new PIP in the expanded area, and replacement of synthetic turf in both toddler and infant play areas.The scope includes removal and disposal of existing playground surfacing materials, minor grading and subbase correction to eliminate irregularities, installation of new code-compliant PIP safety surfacing, installation of high-durability synthetic turf systems over prepared and existing substrates (including concrete), and relocation/installation of fencing to secure the expanded play area.The intent of this project is to improve safety by eliminating trip hazards, ensure compliance with playground safety surfacing requirements, enhance durability under high foot traffic conditions, maintain proper drainage, and provide a secure and functional outdoor play environment for children.The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, permits, and incidentals necessary to complete the work.
