All bidders must be prequalified by PennDOT (Sec. 102.01).All documents and details are available electronically on PennBid: https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.The project consists of the following: PRIMARY (BASE) BID – King George Drive, Lexington Road, Brandywine Road, Concord Road, James Drive ALTERNATE BID – Country Club RoadA MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in the Lower-Level Meeting Room of the Lower Nazareth Township Building. The meeting will conclude with site visits to each roadway for this project. ALL bidders must attend.Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Lower Nazareth Township or a Bid Bond in favor of Lower Nazareth Township at 10% of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond of 100% of the awarded contract total within 15 calendar days of the Notice of Intent to Award.A Maintenance Bond equal to 100% of the awarded contract total will be required for 24 months from the date of the Notice of Completion, with the amount reduced to 50% during the second year.The work on this project constitutes Public Works by a Public Body under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that workers employed on this project must be paid the prevailing minimum wage rates promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor.The Lower Nazareth Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding, increase or decrease quantities, reject any or all bids, and award the contract in the Township’s best interest. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the bid opening date.
