    Description

    The State University of New York at Stony Brook will receive sealed bids for project number 25/26-069MC titled; MATH and PHYSICS PLAZA RENOVATION until 12:00PM, local time on Friday, February 13, 2026. A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) has been adopted for this project. This agreement openly promotes bidding from all contractors – union and non-union. The low bidder must execute and abide by the terms of the project-specific Project Labor Agreement. This project Labor Agreement also impacts acceptable staffing patterns of the project. The PLA should be read in its entirety by all potential bidders prior to submitting a proposal. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 360 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. The question period closes on: Friday, January 16, 2026 at 12 Noon. Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between the University and potential bidders during the procurement process. Failure to adhere to this provision may result in the disqualification under the NYS Procurement Lobbying Act. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
