A Bidder’s Bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas or certified Cashier’s Check, (Bid Security) payable without recourse to the City of McAllen, for the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted via a sealed envelope as a guaranty that if awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into a contract with the City of McAllen.
