McMullen County will receive sealed responses to REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS for Hydrological Services During Construction.
McMullen County has contracted with Nueces River Authority to administer the Utilities Capital Improvement Program. The hydrogeologist selected to assist McMullen County and the NRA with this project will receive work orders from the NRA Contract Administrator. The proposed outcome of the project is improved reliability and water quality in the Calliham area of McMullen County, Texas.
McMullen County is seeking to enter into a professional services contract with a hydrogeologist. A hydrogeologist will be selected by McMullen County under this RFQ. The hydrogeologist services during construction will include observation, data capture, verification of compliance with TCEQ requirements, and recommendations regarding achieving optimum water quality and flow production parameters.
These services are being solicited to assist the County in its construction and installation of a water well for the community of Calliham, Texas. Hydrogeological Service Providers are requested to submit a proposal for the activities listed in the scope of work. The County will, at its sole discretion, determine the contract award, or may decide not to award any contract.
Proposals must be delivered to, and be on file with, County Judge’s Administrative Assistant at the McMullen County Courthouse, 501 River St., Tilden, Texas 78702 on or before 2:00 PM, March 24, 2026, when all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. It is the responsibility of the submitting entity to ensure that the proposal is received in a timely manner. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered for award, regardless of whether or not the delay was outside the control of the submitting provider. The County reserves the right to negotiate with any and all persons or firms submitting proposals.
RFQ documents are available electronically via the internet at no charge at http://www.civcastusa.com. Potential proposers obtaining electronic copies of the RFQ documents via the internet must register with http://www.civcastusa.com to ensure receipt of any addenda or other communication that may be issued.
McMullen County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received and to waive any and all formalities in regard thereto. Proposals will remain subject to acceptance for 90 calendar days following the proposal opening.
Scope of Work – The hydrogeologist will perform oversight of well drilling and installation as follows:
