    Description

    Proposals for construction of the Memorial Drive Water Main Improvements will be received by the City of Taneytown via the Carroll County Public Purchase site until 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 23, 2026 at which time they will be publicly opened at the City Office at 17 East Baltimore Street, Taneytown, Maryland 21787. In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipmentand incidentals required to replace 21 water services, replace 3 hydrants, install new valves, connections to the existing water system, installation of a new 6” water main, curb-to-curb pavement mill & overlay, and erosion & sediment control. The work is located within the City of Taneytown. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the City of Taneytown office, 17 East Baltimore Street, Taneytown, MD 21787 at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. A site visit will follow.
