    Description

Caltrans seeks a consultant to perform a feasibility study to develop and evaluate strategies to address a flood-prone portion of State Route 128 in Mendocino County. The study area is regularly impacted by the effects of sea level rise (SLR), storm surge, and riverine flooding. Heavy rainfall and flooding have caused sinkholes, roadway slip-outs, landslides, and damaged guardrails. The goal of the study is to determine how best to prevent future flooding, improve access along SR 128, and reduce vulnerability of Caltrans assets to existing and future climate stressors. The documents and files attached to this solicitation do not have any updates for digital accessibility at this time. Updates will be applied as soon as they are available.
