The general Scope of Work is as follows:DESCRIPTION OF WORKThe work generally consists of but is not limited to construction of new traffic signals and lighting poles at the intersection, installation of new loop detectors and Signing/Striping, construction of ADA state compliant corner ramps (2) and mid-ramp (1), demolitions and removals of various items, connection of new traffic signals to a live SCE power source service point, A.C. pavement grind and overlay and A.C. full depth construction. In addition, the installation of Controller Cabinet with Foundation, Service Cabinet, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) camera system, Wireless Radios, Ethernet Switch, Poles with Foundation, Conduits, Pull Boxes, and roadway improvements close to the intersection.PROJECT TIMELINEThis project is date specific, and the construction schedule shall be strictly adhered. The Contractor shall begin work on or before the date noted in the project construction time schedule shown below and in the General Provisions. Construction WORK HOURS will be limited between 8:00AM and 5:00PM Pacific Time, Monday to Friday unless approved by City Engineer.LOCATION OF WORKThe work to be constructed is located at the intersection of Menifee Road and FS 76 Entrance (Diamond Road) in the City of Menifee.BID SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTSBids must be submitted electronically via the City of Menifee’s PlanetBids bidding portal at: https://www.planetbids.com/portal/portal.cfm?CompanyID=41576 no later than 2:00 p.m., on Monday, July 27, 2026. Electronic Bid submittal must include all corresponding attachments, including but not limited to, bid bond, subcontractor list, etc.A hard copy of the entire bid package including all original notarized documents must be received within 24 hours of the submittal deadline to be consider responsive to this NIB. If using Federal Express or other such service for bid submittal, the contents of the submittal must be noted on the outside of that envelope as stated above. Bids shall be written clearly and legibly in ink in conformance with the Instruction to Bidders.
