The Mt. Bethel Fire Company is proposing an addition of approximately 20’x100’ (2000 SF) to their existing firehouse and social hall. Their intent is to upgrade the facility to provide emergency shelter during periods of weather emergencies and other traumatic community events.The addition will add handicapped accessible toilet and showering facilities to the building, which do not currently exist. An existing toilet room will be converted into a fire fighters shower room. It will also include an accessible entrance and storage space for the social hall, which will also serve as the emergency shelter space. Renovations will also include upgrades to the mechanical systems (heating/air conditioning).All respondents shall be aware that all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity requirements for federally assisted and state assisted contracts must be complied with.All Contract Documents will be available online at no cost for download beginning Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 4:00 P.M.
