Polk County Public Works Division is accepting proposals to furnish and install equipment for a MRF container (plastic bottles, glass jars, aluminum/tin cans etc..) sorting line at the Polk County (PC) Recycling Center MRF located at 1302 208th Street, St. Croix Falls, WI 54024. Container sorting material includes sorting of plastic bottles, glass jars, aluminum and tin cans. In the case of conflict between specifications, we will review the solution that is most beneficial to PC will govern. All equipment and materials furnished and installed by the Vendor shall strictly conform to all current, applicable codes and regulations of the State of Wisconsin and the authority having jurisdiction. The Vendor should correct any violations resulting from stipulations in existing codes at its own expense. All equipment and materials shall be new and may not have been in service before unless explicitly listed by the vendor in the Proposal Documents. Vendor is responsible for the purpose requirements below including furnishing and installing all electrical equipment, building modifications as needed and fully operational equipment.
