    Description

    The work and services which may be required under this Agreement encompass a wide range of design engineering efforts and operational studies with the possibility of several different types of projects with short completion schedules being assigned concurrently. The primary purpose of this contract will be to assist and advise Allegheny County regarding compliance with its Municipal Separate Stom Sewer System (MS4) Permit issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). This work will include evaluation and updating of the County’s Minimum Control Measures (MCMs) program, preparing an inspection program for the County’s Best Management Practices (BMPs) facilities, and compiling document and preparation of annual reports to be sent to DEP. Additional projects may include but are not limited to the development of plans and bid documents for maintenance, repair of existing BMPs or proposed BMPs.
