    Description

    The City of Culver City intends to obtain the services of a qualified Firm to provide municipal solid waste disposal and processing services for materials generated through the City's exclusive solid waste collection system and Transfer Station operations.The selected Firm shall furnish all labor, facilities, personnel, equipment, permits, regulatory compliance, reporting, contract administration, and related services necessary to receive, process, and dispose of municipal solid waste in accordance with all applicable federal, state, regional, and local laws and regulations.Municipal solid waste collected by the City is delivered to the City's Transfer Station, where materials are consolidated into transfer trailers and transported by the City's contracted transportation provider to the designated disposal facility.The resulting Contract shall primarily provide for the disposal of municipal solid waste. At the City's sole discretion, the Contract may also be utilized for the disposal or processing of additional waste streams generated through City operations, accepted at the City's Transfer Station, or managed under existing or future interagency agreements.The selected Firm shall maintain sufficient operational capacity, qualified personnel, regulatory compliance, and administrative support necessary to ensure reliable disposal services throughout the term of the Contract.The Project Requirements contained herein establish the City's minimum performance expectations. Firms are encouraged to propose additional services, technologies, operational improvements, or value-added solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, environmental performance, operational flexibility, or overall value to the City. Any proposed enhancements shall be clearly identified within the proposal.
