    STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)Project NameNew Playground - La Escuelita Project Location1619 Main StreetDelano, CA 93215 Scope of WorkThis Statement of Work outlines the furnishing, delivery, demolition, and installation of newplayground improvements and associated site work at the above-listed location.1. Playground Equipment FurnishingThe contractor shall furnish and provide playground equipment intended for early childhood andtoddler use within a licensed childcare environment. Equipment shall be developmentally appropriateand designed to support safe play, movement, and engagement for young children.The playground equipment scope may include a combination of play components that support grossmotor activity, balance, coordination, and interactive play. All equipment shall be scaled fortoddler use and designed to minimize fall risk.All playground equipment shall be:• New and unused• Appropriate for early childhood settings• Designed for in-ground installation as required• Compliant with all applicable safety, accessibility, and childcare licensing standards2. Freight and Delivery• Coordinate and provide freight delivery of all playground equipment and materials to the projectsite.• Schedule deliveries to align with demolition and installation activities to minimize sitedisruption.• Contractor is responsible for offloading, staging, and protecting materials upon delivery.3. Demolition and Site Preparation• Perform demolition of existing concrete surfacing totaling approximately:o 530 square feet (general area)o 457 square feet (infant area)• Remove and legally dispose of demolished materials in accordance with local, state, and federalregulations.• Prepare subgrade areas as required to accommodate new equipment installation.4.
